This is one of my first and favorite series.Photos are inspired by the paintings of Raja Ravi Varma. Some are reproduction attempts and some are inspired by his usage of colors, ethnic outfits, authentic jewelry and postures. He has a special way of painting light in pictures bouncing on the timeless beauty. I am pretty sure I enjoyed creating the subject more than clicking in this project. I am curious to experiment on other women and see how they get transformed into paintings. Waiting for daring clients who are ready to be framed 🙂 Who doesn’t like to be in a painting embodying ethnic elegance ❤
